I'm driven by the challenge of using AI and automation to solve complex problems and build transformative solutions. My path has been anything but linear — and that's by design. Here's how it's unfolded, from the very start to what I'm building today.
2017 – 2018
Foundations — engineering & manufacturing
Learned how things get built from the ground up: R&D on rotary engines and personal flight systems with inventor Gilo Cardozo, manufacturing efficiency on the factory floor at Brompton Bicycle, and media production at Wise Buddah.
2018 – 2020
Founded Sturdy Ebikes — my first venture
Converted conventional bikes to electric — engineering the builds, running the supply chain and selling the product myself. Won a £2,500 Entrepreneur & Enterprise Award, and my enterprise work earned a national Bronze — BTEC Business & Enterprise Student of the Year (Pearson, 2019).
2019 – 2020
Chalet Host — Verbier, Switzerland
A season in luxury hospitality at a high-end private chalet — cooking, cocktails, DJing and running daily operations for high-expectation guests.
2021
Seasonal grind — Virginia Hayward
A Christmas season packing premium hampers — beat daily targets by 30%+ and was picked out for the bespoke custom orders. Heads-down graft between ventures.
2022
Business Assistant to Nick Allhusen
Strategy and operations across a portfolio of startups — competitor research that led directly to the launch of an entirely new live-in care business model.
2022 – 2023
Sales Consultant — Hotelplan UK
Generated £500,000+ in sales in seven months, crafting bespoke luxury travel for high-value clients.
2023
The digital pivot — SEO & automation
Tripled website traffic in two months running SEO for Sturdy Storage, then used automation to double an influencer's income at E Firth Services.
2024
Promoted within six months and helped close £250,000+ in enterprise AI deals — learning to sell complex, technical solutions to the C-suite.
2024
The founding era begins
Went all-in on building: launched
Sturdy Ai, co-founded AI market-research platform
Askar Research, and started D2C brand Sturdy Vanilla.
Today
Designing and building Sturdy OS — a family of AI operating systems purpose-built for specific industries, starting with self-storage. Stepped back from Askar Research to give Sturdy Ai my full focus, while continuing to build Sturdy Vanilla on the side.
